- i like mcvert so i feel compelled to defend..
- mcvert's output is in a format called "macbinary". You need to
- set your transfer program to macbinary mode ( not just binary )
- or get a mac program such as "macbinary" ( not "macbin".. ) to
- do the conversion after you get the file to the mac.

- if your file is strictly 'data' ( such as a ".sit.hqx" ) then you
- are ok without the macbinary translation, but it is nicer to do it right.
- ( you get a real stuffit icon for one thing. )
