- For almost two years I've been using mcvert. This time, though there
- have been a LOT of strange problems with it. Watch this:
-
- -=> mcvert -V msword-50a-updater.hqx
- entering new_in_hqx_file ...
- ... opened msword-50a-updater.hqx
- Converting WordPatcher.sit type = "APPL", author =
- "aust"
- data_len=-230227968 trsrc_len= 72876032
- hqx_to_bin_fork: fwrite on binfile wrote -230227968 bytes too few
-
- last perror (may not be relevent): Error 0
- mcvert: exiting
-
- Ack! I wound up with a 128 byte file from this! Version 1.65 RAN fine
- before and after NJIT updated their OS. Mcvert 1.70 and 1.80 didn't work
- at all, so I recompiled 1.65...and it didn't work either! Apparantly,
- it's some kind of incompatability with the ULTRIX version that we're
- using. For those who care:
-
- ULTRIX V4.2A (Rev. 47) (hertz.njit.edu)
-
- If anyone can tell me of another UNIX-based .hqx converter, please let
- me know!
