- Hello,
-
- I am trying to get some data from people who have used
- floptical disk drives.
- There is a special offer on(inUk)
- which apparently, part for an internal for around 400 pounds
- and the disks come at 19 pounds each.
-
- I follow this net regualarly, and the questions I would ask
- is
- 1. whether they are a cost effective medium (in comparison
- with a standard optical drive as prices are getting lower)
- 2. How are they in reliability and access speed.
-
- 3. Could I expect slow Hard disk performance or am I looking at
- a replacement floppy drive?
-
- Thanks for any responses.
