It also works if you hold down the option key while making a selection from
your "Open Special" menu--I just checked!

I also have the "Verify files when they are opened" option checked in my
preferences. A while ago I discovered what happens when you click the "Cancel"
button in the verification-in-progress dialog. Cute...
