  13. Reading the 7/27/92 issue of MacWeek, p.46, it seems Apple agrees
  14. that macintoshes are overpriced compared to other personal computers:

  16.    "[Apple executives] made it clear to [analysts] that they will
  17.    aggressively price their products soon," said John Girton, vice
  18.    president of research for Van Kasper & Co. in San Francisco.

  20. Of course, this could mean only a small discount is coming, but Apple is
  21. feeling the pinch of the much cheaper PC clones.
