- The most I ever used the init is in a lab where disks are recovered.

- We didn't want to give students our disks, so BAD was really nice, since
- we could reformat their marginal disk and give them their files, suggesting
- they buy a new disk to transfer things onto.

- We kept their files on the hard drive for a few days too, just in case their
- disk didn't make it to the bookstore and back.

- This allowed us to be more of a one-stop shop, and helped move more people
- through the procedure faster.
