- My first computer was an Apple II (not a II Plus)--16 K of RAM, no hard
- disk. I had to pay extra for an RF interface to connect it to a TV set,
- and had to provide my own casette drive for the tapes. It cost $1149
- for the computer alone. Nowadays $1149 can get you a Mac Classic II
- with a 40 meg hard disk and 4 megs of RAM (if you shop carefully), or
- for $899, you can get a PowerBook 100 4/40 at the Price Club. Times
- certainly have changed, haven't they? :-)
