  40. Strange that wouldn't work on my machine.  Maybe it was because
  41. Microsoft Word came on 3-1/2" disks and the "A" drive is a 5-1/4"
  42. drive.  (The PC file system is too retarded to recognize disks
  43. by name.)  Also, you will find that the program is not always named
  44. "install."  It may be something like "xyinstal" where "xy" are the 
  45. initials of the program, and there may be options you have to worry
  46. about too.  You won't know any of this unless you read the manual.

  53. You almost got it right.  It may cost more to get a Mac that can do
  54. the same things you do on your PC, but that same Mac can also do things
  55. your PC will never do (at least, not without a lot of additional hardware/
  56. software and maybe not even then).  Because you use a PC, you do not
  57. do things you can't do on a PC, by definition.  That, in itself, makes
  58. it hard for you to realize what else you're missing out on.  If you've
  59. never driven a car that has springs in the seats, you might believe 
  60. that's a luxury, too...
