  19. Here at A&M, the 5/80 IIsi config will sell for $1500.  I can get
  20. a 9/80 si, CD-ROM, grayscale screen, std keybd, A/UX for $3000.
  21. In fact, it's cheaper for me to buy the items separately and piece
  22. it together myself than it is to get one of Apple's pre-done deals.

  24. Apple is really doing some things with their prices.  When I first
  25. bought my Mac + (still have it) back in '87, my Plus, ImageWriter II
  26. and Applecare cost $2500.  Considering new technology and Apple's
  27. price cuts, look at how much more you get now.
