- Hello.
- It is necessary for me to use Kermit here at ISU, and we have a Unix
- based minicomputer and a Vax/Vms machine to work with. The Unix machine allows
- 2048 bytes per packet, and the Vax machine allows 1016. Because we have
- direct lines from our dorms to a network connecting us to the mini's, I do
- all my downloading at 19200 bps. I set my packet sizes to the maximum on
- either machine I am working with, and White Knight reports that I am receiving
- more than I asked for.
- Use more than the 94 packetsize. It runs faster, and with less errors.
