  21. I work for a software reseller called 800-SOFTWARE.  DEC just acquired us.
  22. My personal perception is that DEC is embarking on the largest restructuring
  23. in the history of the industry -- going from selling proprietary systems
  24. (VAX's) at huge margins to a one stop, hardware, software and services
  25. provider.  The 1.8 billion dollar loss was no surprise.  What's really
  26. exciting is DEC's new Alpha chip...
