It looks like HP is trying to do everything to ensure that Deskjet or Deskwriter user's don't refill their used cartridges.  Don't get fooled by all those recyclable packaging HP used on their catridges.  If HP really wants to save the environment, they would leave a hole in their new double capacity cartridges so that it's refillable.
