- Should we tell him about the techie way of doing it? Exit all running
- applications, DAs, and control panels so that only the finder is running,
- then press command-option-escape. Then click force-quit while holding down
- the command and option keys. This will force the Finder to quit and to
- relaunch itself immediately, and rebuild the desktop upon relaunching.
