  35. Should we tell him about the techie way of doing it?  Exit all running
  36. applications, DAs, and control panels so that only the finder is running,
  37. then press command-option-escape.  Then click force-quit while holding down
  38. the command and option keys.  This will force the Finder to quit and to
  39. relaunch itself immediately, and rebuild the desktop upon relaunching.
