  29. Have you ever tried holding option and command keys down when 
  30. rebooting ???? During the startup the Mac asks if you want to
  31. rebuild the desktop. I don't think it takes too long. I just
  32. timed it. Rebuild took excactly 3 minutes 14 seconds. I have a
  33. 422 MB hard disk and I think on a 75 MB HD it must take much 
  34. shorter time.
