- Huh? This has not been my experience. I ran system 6 for 3 years
- without once having significant problems. (or for that matter, without
- rebuilding my desktop--out of ignorance.) I've been running system 7
- for two months now, without trouble. Admittedly, I had some problem
- in the transition, with having my UltraDrive 45 get sick and need
- reformatting, but I've had no problems at all with day-to-day stability.
-
- I'm curious. Do you have any idea why you get such frequent problems?
-
- I'm also curious why you lump reinstalling your system in with a
- simple maintenance task like rebuilding your desktop, and why your
- disk having 75MB of files has anything to do with it. (Are you saying
- 'rebuild desktop' when you mean 'reformat drive'?) Otherwise, that
- sentence reads something like 'Yeah I've had my car for six months now,
- and I've been having problems. I've had have it into the mechanic and/or
- refill gas an average of twice a month.'
