- The IMHO far too expensive but definitely really cool animation system
- Electric Image was used by the folks at Industrial Light & Magic for
- a spot in Terminator 2. The nuclear explosion scene was rendered with
- EI. According to ILM, Electrric Image renders faster that Alias on
- a Silicon Graphics workstation.
- And now for EI's next trick: The forth coming film based on Jurassic Park
- is employing Electric Image to render the dinosaurs and other elements.
- Wanna jump on the band wagon? Be prepared to shell out a cool $7495 for
- the software. Sigh. But once you play with this thing, you're hooked.
