  12. The IMHO far too expensive but definitely really cool animation system
  13. Electric Image was used by the folks at Industrial Light & Magic for
  14. a spot in Terminator 2.  The nuclear explosion scene was rendered with
  15. EI.  According to ILM, Electrric Image renders faster that Alias on
  16. a Silicon Graphics workstation.
  17.   And now for EI's next trick: The forth coming film based on Jurassic Park
  18. is employing Electric Image to render the dinosaurs and other elements.
  19. Wanna jump on the band wagon? Be prepared to shell out a cool $7495 for
  20. the software.  Sigh.  But once you play with this thing, you're hooked.
