  16. My FinderEvents XCMD does this.  You can find it on ftp.apple.com as
  17. /pub/pugh/hyperstuff/finderevents121.cpt.hqx

  19. This performs an identical function to pulling down the Finder's Shutdown
  20. menu item.  It will still stop for save dialogs, etc. if there are unsaved
  21. docs or programs that are obnoxious.

  23. It also performs a large variety of other functions, including launching
  24. applications on remote machines.
