- I asked about the existance of such a product a while ago, seems its extremly
- discouraged by the RIAA.

- Anyway, working throught the numbers, I found that the serial port would
- not cut it. You "almost" have it, but don't forget, music is stereo!

- not even with external clocking is the Mac serial port rated for 1.44Mbits

- PS, this is also why all those CD-ROM players that can play music don't
- let you read the digital music, RIAA would smote them with a lawsuit as
- big as Canada if they did.
