- I've been looking for a good way to add HD diskette support to my original
- Mac II, and the ads for the PLI 21 megabyte "floptical" drive have caught
- my eye. It seems for about the Apple price for an FDHD and SWIM upgrade I
- can buy one of these puppies and get the additional ability to read/write
- these 21MB diskettes. (No more backup to floppies -- horray!)
-
- Does anyone have any experience with these drives?
-
- Do you know whether they can be used to read/write PC floppy (using
- Apple File Exchange, or something like DOS Mounter)?
-
- Email, and I will summarize.
-
- Thanks!
