- The price of 3.5" MO drives has been coming down. Also, if as you said,
- your main interest is backups, the drive price is a bit less of an issue,
- since the MO media price is significantly lower than for Syquest (or a
- Bernoulli type). Keep in mind also that physical frailty is only one
- of the disadvantages - MO media have a longer data shelf life and aren't
- prone to magnetic corruption.
