- It seems that the traffic on the net has been heavy for powerbook stuff -
- maybe we should consider making a new group, just for them? Naaah.
-
- I have heard that the new 145 is just going to be a 140 running at 25 MHz for
- all practical purposes. Other models destined for later include grey scale,
- and next year should see color and PCMMIA (sp?) cards for Books. That shoulld
- really drop the weight a lot.
-
- PB 100 sales: there is supposed to be a Price Club in the Mass area, in a
- place called Seacok around 60 miles south of Boston. I don not know of any group other
-
-
- than the PC that is selling the 100s.
-
- Is it just me, or do the people who don't ever read the user manuals make
- others nervous? Every time I read an article about "be on the lookout for
- stolen PowerBook #24509824..." and then an article that asks how to do
- something really basic, I have to wonder if there is a connection.
- Now if I even go to the bathroom down the hall I lock the door. What an
- amazingly stealable item.
-
-
-
- Sorry if the editor makes this ugly - it is doing some weird stuff.

- "I have had my PowerBook 100 for four days, and when I finally put SAM on it
- last night, it found 18 infected files. I think that anyone who is
- responsible for a virus should be forced to eat all their hardware, without
- ketchup"
