- I too have noticed this. If I plug the AC adapter in and then take it
- out again, often the display will go to full once the little lightning
- bolt goes away. When I talked to Apple tech support I was told that the
- battery gauge was written for the Portable, and as such it is not
- accurate for the PowerBooks. I think this goes more for the 140/170
- then the 100 due to the different battery types.

- I also forked over $$$ to get a battery charger and some extra
- batteries. I've found that when left on the charger over night, they
- seem to get a fuller charge then a similar amount of time in my 100.
