  13. *Hayes-compatible* modems are modems.  Any Macintosh comm software
  14. should work with any 100% Hayes-compatible modem.  If you get a 
  15. high-speed modem (>9600 bps) you need a hardware-handshaking cable
  16. ($25 street).  Check out the FAQ for comp.sys.mac.comm for a more
