- Using my Powerbook 140, I notice after about 5 to 10 seconds of not moving
- the mouse or typing, the system slows down. This is not powering down the
- hard disk or sleeping; the system just slows down. It is most apparent
- when I run SSI's "Secret of the Silver Blades," which is a poor IBM port,
- and it's scrolling some text by and it will be scrolling merrily along and
- suddenly slow. If I move the mouse (ok, trackball) around the text
- immediately speeds up, then slows again after about 5-10 seconds of not
- moving it.
-
- Is this documented anywhere? Can I turn it off or modify it if I wish?
-
- Thanks
