- that I said I had tried.
- I tried: Setting to black and white
- Setting cache to max
- Shutting off virtual memory

- Also both machines have identical system and software.
- The SE/30 is running two monitors, with one in full color,
- so it's not because of the 9 inch black and white.

- I can get some more speed (not a whole lot) from the IIsi
- by doing everything mentioned above but it doesn't do me
- much good because with only 3 meg of RAM I can't run Word 5.0
- and Equation Editor at the same time without slowing it down
- with virtual memory.
