  13. Every response I got to the original post suggests options
  14. that I said I had tried.
  15. I tried: Setting to black and white
  16.     Setting cache to max
  17.     Shutting off virtual memory
  18.  
  19. Also both machines have identical system and software.
  20. The SE/30 is running two monitors, with one in full color,
  21. so it's not because of the 9 inch black and white.

  24. I can get some more speed (not a whole lot) from the IIsi
  25. by doing everything mentioned above but it doesn't do me
  26. much good because with only 3 meg of RAM I can't run Word 5.0
  27. and Equation Editor at the same time without slowing it down
  28. with virtual memory.
