- According to InfoWorld magazine, here are the Mac models slated for Oct.
-
- Mac IIzi: 33MHz 030, onboard 24-bit, 3 slots, built-in CD-ROM
- Powerbook 1: 16MHz 030, mono passive-matrix display, 4MB RAM
- Powerbook 2: 25MHz 030, 16-gray passive-matrix, 40/80 HD, 4MB RAM
- Powerbook 3: 33MHz 030, 16-gray active-matrix, 80HD, 4MB RAM
- Docking Station:Adds external video and 2 nubus slots for a 25MHz 030
- powerbook.
-
- Apple is reportedly deciding whether or not to introduce the docking
- station as well as a color version of the high-end Powerbook. The two
- high-end systems here 'may ship for less than $3000' according to the
- usual 'sources.' Salt to taste; I have no idea of the (in)accuracy of
- this information. Reprinted without permission from InfoWorld Magazine,
- July 27th, p8. Sorry guys!
