- If you happen to have a file being written when you turn it off, then that file
- is most likely going to have some damage done. Likely, you're going to hit
- the Desktop, possibly the System and your app.

- Instead of taking the keyboard off, why not add a long alphanumeric password
- to shut the program down. A kid is not likely to guess a long one, and you
- can shut down in peace.

- I should note that Apple still says that adding and removing (I think the
- latter is included) ADB devices while your machine is on can fry a chip on
- the motherboard (i.e. bye bye motherboard...). It's Not A Good Idea (tm).
