- When I first got my PB100 and noticed the lack of a Modem Port, I was
- wondering the same thing, especially since my modem at home is external
- and my PowerPort/Gold isn't here yet... :-)
-
- Anyway, it's called (oddly enough) "Second Serial Port Card".
- Here's the description:
-
- The Second Serial Port Card fits into the internal modem slot of the
- PowerBook 100 computer and gives the user a second RS-422 serial port for
- instrumentation, or an external Modem Channel-A port for connectivity.
- When this card is installed in the modem slot, its mini-DIN 8-pin connector
- uses the panel space designed for the modem's phone jack.

- ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ME TOO!! I wouldn't trade it for a 140 or 170...
- (Hey, with 8mb of RAM, 120mb drive, and PowerPort/Gold, it'll be GREAT!)
