- Arrghh!! Now wait just a doggone minute. Someone from Dartmouth posted
- earlier that these systems will come with the American Heritage Dictionary,
- an Encyclopedia, and some other software pre-installed on the hard drive.
-
- Now why in the world would I want to buy any Mac better than the IIsi?
- Especially if I get free software!
-
- I was looking forward to buying a Quadra 700 (coincidentally from UT@Austin)
- in a few weeks. However, the CPU costs 2-3 times more than this new IIsi
- does (depending on HD size). Is Apple shooting itself in the foot by
- offering this deal? I'm sure many people (including me) who were thinking
- about buying more powerful machines will think twice before passing up this
- bargain. Apple will probably sell a lot of si's, but...
