- True, but the circuitry can be bypassed. The (formerly?) Micron Xceed
- Color/30 board (for 8bit on an external monitor) can take an adapter attachment
- that will allow the internal monitor to display 8bit greyscale. If you simply
- MUST have 8bit greyscale on the internal of an SE/30, it will cost you around
- $280 for the video card and $80 for the internal adapter. Look for it in
- major Mac Catalogs.
