- I talked with Daystar Digital about this today. Here is what they
- told me (I'll give you the short version): NO.
- If you decide not to purchase a PowerCache with a FPU, then
- the PowerCache will use the 16 Mhz FPU already on the motherboard of
- the SE/30. It is only if you get a faster FPU for the PowerCache
- (which is always an extra option, BTW) that the motherboard's FPU
- will be disabled.
- So, yes, you can get your 50Mhz CPU, and keep your 16Mhz FPU, too!
