- Yes, two cartridges come with the Deskwriter C. One is a three color, and the
- other is black. It takes about 5 seconds to switch the cartridges. If what
- you are printing is in color, the print monitor will remind you to switch to
- the color cartridge, if you have the black one in. The software knows what
- cartridge you have in, because the cartridges are different sizes, and the
- color one moves a switch on the printer when inserted, while the black
- one does not.
