- I like having the color. In my opinion, the Deskwriter C is best suited to
- printing things like GIFs, because in color mode (different cartridge) the
- "black" is a composite of the three other colors (cyan, magenta, and yellow,
- I guess). Therefore, it is not "true" black, so it looks a little odd
- (compared with a page printed with the black cartridge) if you are printing a
- page that is mostly black text with some color highlights. It does a very
- nice job with color pictures, though. You should go to a computer store and
- try to get a demo, if possible. I'm very pleased with mine, and find the
- quality very high.

- No upgrade is needed. The Deskwriter C (and probably Deskwriter too) is
- Localtalk-ready.
