- Does scsi probe read it as being a sony C500 drive or something similar? If not
- then it is possible that it really isn't a sony drive. It really shouldn't
- matter whether it is a sony or not since the scsi interface defines the format
- command and if any scsi formatting software issues the command it should go to
- work. Try using silverlining, fwb disktools, or scsi pro director to format.

- What was this drive connected to before your mac? Some drives have special
- dip switch or jumper settings for different computers so this might be a
- problem for you.
