- I need some advice on how to hook an NEC-LC860+ laser printer to a Macintosh.
- I am aware that the NEC is not a PostScript printer; the object is to allow
- output to be printed (even if it looks like dot-matrix variety) to the printer
- since that's what we have. I was told by a local printer-vendor that I
- would have to buy a $150 cable/converter called a "grappler" to do this. I
- don't know alot about mac's (I'm a PC type), but I was under the impression
- that all I needed was two Appletalk interfaces (mac port + printer port) and
- a cable - is this correct ? Any/all help & comments would be greatly
- appreciated !! Thanks.
