  14. 1) If you use the Find command (under Edit menu) then you can jump to items
  15. in a Browse
  16.  
  17. 2) I've heard varying reports from Dec/92 - Jan/93 to mid-year/93 from
  18.    Microsoft in Australia, regarding the FoxPro/Mac release.

  20. IN THE MEANTIME
  21. I'm working on a few improvements to FoxBase+/mac (currently in beta) that
  22. give you
  23.  
  24. BROWSE DOUBLE-CLICK
  25. traps double-click, Enter, Tab & Return keys (you control which of these
  26. are trapped) and creates a command-key of your choice (eg: command-O to
  27. Open a single record).

  29. FAST DIALOG
  30. Loads an array (maintained separately to Fox memory space) and shows a true
  31. Mac dialog allowing up&down arrows, first few letters jump to item etc.
  32. (multiple-selections are under development).
  33. VERY FAST as it is doing it's own load loop (you specify the command, eg:
  34. either SKIP or CONTINUE) and the array is shown using the internal Dialog
  35. manager, so avoids the slow Fox stuff.

  37. These will both be released as shareware VERY SOON - we are just testing on
  38. different machines to ensure minimum hassles.
