  16. I am using FoxBASE+/Mac.

  18. I am writing an application in which I would like to implement
  19. an incremental browse to perform a search in a large file.
  20. In other words, I would like to paint something similar to a browse
  21. window and be prompted for a string.

  23. As I type in a string, a highlighted bar would be moved to the
  24. record in the browse window whose key string begins with the string
  25. entered at the keyboard.

  27. This can be implemented quite easily with FoxPro 2.0 PC.  But
  28. Incompatibility prevents me from porting this routine over to
  29. the Mac.

  31. Is anyone familiar with a similar routine that can help me perform
  32. an icremental browse?  If so, I would sincerely appriciate any tips
  33. and/or techniques on implementing this.
