  18. And on a related note I would like to find a program for the conversion of Gifs
  19. to PICT.  Preferrably in a batch process.  Both QuickGif and Giffer can open
  20. Gifs and save then as PICTs but the files must be opened one at a time and
  21. then, to save the file with a new extension, the name must be manually typed
  22. in.  I haven't figured out a good way to automate the process with either
  23. AutoMac or Macromaker etc.  Is there a better alternative out there?  I also
  24. have access to a UNIX Sun Sparc system on which the conversion could in
  25. principle be made and which is much friendlier to automatic file scripting. 
  26. But I don't know of any software to convert Gifs to PICTs on that machine.
