- Try this: Open an new Excel document, enter a 1 in e.g. A1. From the Data
- menu, select Series..., then in the dialog box enter 2000 or whatever you need
- in the Stop box. The Step Value should be one, and you want to enter by
- Columns; click OK. This will create the column of row numbers. Select the
- numbered boxes and Copy. Then, with your Word document open, move to the first
- line in the blank column in your Word table, and Paste.
