- Yes, I seem to remember it was a rather big news story. Can't believe I
- forgot about it when I wrote the post. Intersting question though in relation
- to software. Does this means you can copy games? (I know, I know - software
- isn't music or video (even though both are supposedly covered by the same law)

- Actually I was rather serious about that. I made a facitious point because
- most of these laws aren't carried to their extreme. For exampleyou must pay
- royalties when you perform a song. I have heard of several groups which have
- had troubles in this area. Now usually the police are nice about it. But
- I think that it all comes down to the interpretation of what a public
- performance is. But then again I could be wrong. I know they are quite picky
- about photocopying music for choirs and the like. But then most school bands
- I know of still do it.

- What was the SC's justification of the difference? Does anyone know?
-
- What about the multiple machine case? Lets say I have two computers. Can I
- have my copy of Word installed on both? Unless I am mistaken I think that
- technically this is a no.
