- Hello.
-
- An office where a friend of mine works has just established TCP/IP access to
- the Internet. She is looking for a good 3270 emulator to hook up to some
- horrible IBM MegaThingy. In particular, she would like a package that can
- emulate the extended keyboard and color. Someone has mentioned InterCom(?)'s
- TCP/Connect to her, but that can only emulate 3278 (no color, ext. kbd) as best
- as she knows. Ideally, if the program also has any of the following, it would
- be even better.
- * POP Mail access * NNTP News access
- * Mac-like interface for FTP * VT100/VT320 emulation
- * Mac-like talk facilities * System 7 compatibility
-
- If everyone can email me (triantos@acsu.buffalo.edu), I'll post a summary in a
- few days.
-
- Thanks in advance,
- -Nick
