  27. This may not be the ultimate solution, but it may work for you while
  28. you're waiting for someone to produce the ult. sol.

  30. If you hold down the option key while changing applications, the
  31. previous application will be hidden. I don't know about option-opening
  32. an app - you can try it. But if you've got Finder and MacWrite open,
  33. Finder in front, select MacWrite from the apps menu or click a MW window
  34. while holding option. Finder goes away.
