- Greetings -
-
- Maybe this isn't "the" best place for this posting, but I
- wanted to get the input/opinions of genuine 68K programmers
- and engineers..
- I am embarking on a personal project which will involve
- designing a few boards. Not wanting to reinvent the wheel
- unless I HAVE to, I have been looking around for info on
- 68K SBCs, specifically 68020 20 MHz and up. What I need
- would include FD/HD controller (though SCSI would be NICE)
- DUART(s), at least 512K RAM, 128K ERPOM space, and a
- parallel bus or access to the microprocessor's bus. As
- this is all coming outta my pocket, I am also somewhat
- price sensitive, but most products in this description will
- probably cost me less than the time and $ to build this part
- of the project myself..
-
- If anyone has used or is using a system such as this and
- has liked it (or if you have some you have truly hated) I
- would appreciate hearing about it, or any other info you might
- have. There used to be a company called Marion Systems out in
- California that had some product close to what I want, but the
- seem to have disappeared/moved/changed their name and their
- phone #. IF there is interest, I will post a summary to this
- group.
-
- Many thanks in advance !
