  14. I finally got information on the GateWay handbook.

  38. The processor is the " PC in a chip". It's an 8088 with all supporting
  39. chips
  40. inclusive.  The whole PC is on the chip except I/O and ram.  Because of

  42. the compactness of the chip the computer has 286 performance and a low
  43. power
  44. usage.  The battery life is longer than most portables, due to this fact.
  45. Most of the power consumption will come from the backlit LDC screen and
  46. the hard drive.
