  26. I have a BJ10ex and can give the switch settings if you want them.

  28. The thing I wondering is whether the Japanese model has different
  29. internal fonts.

  31. One thing to try is to print plain ASCII.

  33. Assuming you don't have the bin-sheet-feeder, set all
  34. the switches down towards the front of the printer.
  35. The printer should now be in BJ10e mode.  Could I suggest
  36. you try printing ACSII then try using the Windows 3.1 driver.

  38. If you switch the extreme right DIP switch up, the printer should
  39. now be in EPSON LQ mode.  This is assuming the Japanese standardise
  40. their printers and don't put everything around the other way for
  41. their home market printers.
