  31. Under AIX, it is my understanding that the RT serial port device 
  32. driver does not support hardware flow control.  I have not looked at 
  33. the AOS code, so I am not sure if it suffers the same limitation.

  41. Not sure about that rumor.

  43. With the VRM/AIX combination, there is quite a bit of buffer space (slack)
  44. to store receiving characters (and its configurable!).  Unfortunately, on
  45. sending, there's no way to throttle the RT.
