  10.     The PC I am using is has got a card and monitor with SuperVGA
  11. capabilities but I find that I cannot use the extended VGA modes that it
  12. is supposed to support. I have a program (called ADAPTER.EXE that came with
  13. SVGA111) that determines what type of card you have and what display resolution
  14. you can display. It shows that the computer will display 320x200x256 and 
  15. 640x400x256 but the latter does not work. The manual for it displays an
  16. On Board VGA Jumper Select table that give three different alternatives.
  17. It is currently at the 'Software Control' setting and has two more that
  18. are 'Hardare Enable' and 'Hardware Disable'. Should this jumper be set to
  19. 'Hardware Enable' to obtain the extended modes or is it another problem?
  20. The BIOS is Phoenix 80386SX ROM BIOS Version 3.01. Could this be the reason
  21. why the extended modes do not work?
