- Howdy. I'm sure that this has been hashed over a million times, but here
- goes:
-
- I'm going to be buying a 486DX33 or maybe 50. I would like to be able to
- have 3 partitions (386BSD, OS/2 and DOS/Windows) and be able to boot
- off of any of the OSes.
-
- Questions:
-
- -What SVGA card should I get? I'm leaning towards the Tseng ET4000 local
- bus.
- -Has anybody done 386BSD X11R5 patch level 13??? Will the Tseng ET4000 work?
- -How stable is the latest 386BSD?
- -GNU (C, emacs, Perl, bash, epoch, ...) available for 386 BSD???
- -How is Linux? PD? Source available? MIT (freely avail) X11R5pl13
- available for it?
-
- Thanks, Ralph
