  16. I need to be able to send printer codes to the printer to change the
  17. printer's configuration, such as switch to compressed print, change
  18. orientation (on a laser printer), etc.  I generally do not have the
  19. printer's manual, so I was wondering if there was a listing of printer
  20. codes for various makes of printers.  I have checked the wustl
  21. archives and various FAQs, but I didn't see anything appropriate.

  24. would appreciate hearing about it.  Thank you.
