- I have found myself in need of a bigger hard drive and I am considering the
- Maxtor 7213A IDE Drive (213 MB, 15ms). I've noticed that several dealers
- in this month's Computer Shopper Magazine are offering it at a discounted
- price ($459 at DC Computers). Also the London Drugs Computer Department here
- in Edmonton has it on sale. I'm curious why Maxtor is slashing the price
- on this particular drive. Is there something unreliable about it??
-
- Does anyone have any experience, good or bad with this particular drive??
-
- BTW, I have a 386-25 clone, and I intend to run the new drive with my old
- 40 MB IDE, and both floppy drives.
-
- Thanks, in advance, for your time.
